Phil is in his last week of school. Pancake dinner tonight and study hall, so I introduced the kids to Romin.

Zoo bound along with most of Fort Worth
Was going to make this prettier, but since it's been a week now since we went and still I haven't posted, I'll move forward.
Admiring...people! Actually it's the little Timon animals. But it does look like people down in an enclosure. (I'm grateful Aunt Tami and Jessica were willing to tag along. Three adults for three mobile children was perfect in the mayhem).
Bamboo break.
Somehow this kid really likes the monkeys and gorillas and chimps. Not inherited from me.
Enjoying the ride, though after a few brief minutes of weepiness, she fell asleep until 10 minutes from home again.
Love the komodo dragon, though today he was the first time we saw him moving at all, and he was wildly digging. Escape route?
Good times.

Thankful
that after I came out from arranging some clothes, this was all that had happened to Penelope. I can live with a belt and elephant "gun."
Penelope is Naomi 2.0 (reportedly)
I sure hope my yellow scarf does not become Snuggle 2.0. She was fingering it a bit too lovingly!
When we used to love in Colleyville, we would walk to feed the donkey and cow down the road, feeling rustic in suburbia. Today, feeling nostalgic, we went back for a walk and found alpacas instead.
Naomi is itching to use my picnic basket with ask the plates and plastic utensils. We compromised with a pack lunch on the side of the path.

End of the road
Phil's team lost their 2nd playoff attempt today. PJ represents me well: trying to look concerned and sorrowful, but check out the party shirt! And fly accessory.
