At the Bassett farm

It all started with Rudy's in New Braunfels, TX.
Then, we were delighted to attend the ordination service for our college friend, Trey Owens on Friday night, March 25th.  What a special evening!
Back on the homestead, Naomi helps her Papaw plant some sweet corn per Nana's request (the sweet corn, not getting Naomi out into the garden).

Naomi is bemused and fascinated by all the sights, sounds, and sensations of the Hill Country.

Nana and Naomi crack each other up.

The old farm is brimming over with picturesque scenes.  But where are the people?!

There: Phil his little girl inside the rock house.

We can always count on a large, delicious spread of food! And typically, plenty of family around to enjoy it together. Here, we have Uncle Ronnie and Aunt Gloria, Grandma Bassett, Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Don. Mrs. Hazard's head is just peaking over Don's shoulder.

Phil, Matthew, and Grandma Bassett enjoy a rock n' roll DVD featuring Matthew.

The undeniable sign of sleepiness setting in.  Disregard the bright, attentive eyes.

Naomi's great-grandparents enjoying each other's company, while Geemaw later gets a bright smile out of Naomi.

Seeing the company off from the front porch.
Sunday: Just one last song, Naomi, and then we have to leave.

Lots of sweet memories with all of you. Loved "reliving" the weekend with your blog. Love how you write.
Again our thanks for coming down and hanging out. You all were a joy and pleasure to Nana and Papaw!

Love you
Nana
