South Carolina: more to see, touch, and...taste.

 Monday night: Murder mystery.
Tuesday: A happy girl! Enjoying the sights and sounds at Boone Hall Plantation.

All of us!  Good looking group.

 Loving Uncle Neil.
Beautiful grounds, though NOT where Gone with the Wind was filmed.
.....
Wednesday we went on our big outing to Fort Sumter, the first engagement of the Civil War.
Little tourists. Phil touring around the peripheral.
The cork games makes a reappearance! I knew all those salvaged corks would come in handy.
Kate and Sophie really enjoyed it.
.....
No other takers, so Mom and I walked to the Morris Island lighthouse together early one morning.
 Day tripping in Charleston proper.

A clandestine trip to an ice cream parlor; followed by a family viewing of The Sound of Music.
.....

Enjoying the penthouse pre-breakfast Friday morning.

Toyko Crepes: if you are ever in the area, go!  Everything was marvelous. Urban Spoon agrees.
Last day at the beach, and Naomi comes around to loving the sand part of the beach.
You may even see some sand on her bottom lip here.
